The prosecutor's office of Baikonur has identified violations in the collective agreement of the local hospital. The clinic's management illegally required employees to pay for mandatory medical examinations at their own expense, until the supervisory authority intervened, reports infohub.kz.
During the inspection, prosecutors found that the hospital's collective agreement clauses contradicted the requirements of the labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It turned out that doctors at the medical facility had to undergo mandatory medical examinations and laboratory tests at their own expense.
The prosecutor's office issued a supervisory act demanding that the collective agreement between the hospital and its employees be brought into compliance with the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"Now the obligation to finance these medical examinations of medical workers is placed on the employer," the statement said.
As a result, the rights of 444 medical workers employed at the city hospital were restored.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that the prosecutor's office of Akmola region restored the housing rights of a general practitioner who was denied privatization of a service apartment by officials. Local authorities cited the transfer of the polyclinic to trust management by private owners, but the supervisory authority found this argument unlawful.
It was also reported that the prosecutor's office of the Astrakhan district protected the rights of 23 newborns left without state-guaranteed first-aid kits and "Ana men bala" sets. After the intervention of the supervisory authority, the district hospital not only fully eliminated the violations but also purchased 120 sets with a reserve for the entire current year.
