Bank CenterCredit increased the capital of three of its subsidiaries by 26.9 billion tenge after June 30, 2026. The funds went to BCC-HUB, BCC Invest and BCC Project, according to the lender's interim financial statements, infohub.kz reports.
The largest injection went to BCC Project: in September 2026 its charter capital rose by 18.087 billion tenge. Notably, the contribution was made not in cash but through the transfer of real estate to the company. BCC Project is wholly owned by BCC and manages distressed assets.
The bank allocated another 4.995 billion tenge to BCC Invest in August. To increase its capital, BCC acquired about 1.1 billion ordinary shares of the subsidiary at 4.56 tenge per share. BCC Invest is engaged in brokerage and dealer activities.
In July and August, BCC-HUB's charter capital was increased by a further 3.846 billion tenge in cash. The company is also wholly owned by the bank and provides IT services.
Separately, in July and August the bank formed the charter capital of a new subsidiary, BCC ODEPT, in the amount of 350 million tenge. The company is developing a digital B2B platform. Taking these funds into account, the capital increase for the four subsidiaries totaled about 27.3 billion tenge.
Bank CenterCredit has operated in Kazakhstan since 1988 and is classified as a systemically important bank. As of June 30, 2026, it had 21 branches. The bank has assets of almost 9 trillion tenge and liabilities of 8 trillion tenge. Net profit for January-July 2026 stands at 123 trillion tenge. According to the statements, the largest holder of BCC ordinary shares is Bakhytbek Baiseitov with a 52.12% stake, while Vladislav Li owns another 12%. The remaining shareholders, each holding less than 5% of ordinary shares, collectively control 35.88%.
