A large-scale study by Kazakh scientists has found no convincing evidence that 4G and 5G technologies harm health when safety standards are met, reports infohub.kz.

Experts from scientific and medical organizations analyzed more than 255 scientific publications, including meta-analyses and systematic reviews, on the impact of these technologies on the human body.

The analysis emphasizes: "No convincing scientific evidence has been obtained of long-term negative effects of 5G technologies on human health when international electromagnetic safety standards are observed."

The researchers note that the effects of radiofrequency radiation continue to be studied, and some questions remain subjects of scientific debate.

In Kazakhstan, electromagnetic field levels are regulated by sanitary standards. Permissible levels for the population are set with a hygienic safety margin.

A Ministry of Health publication states: "When established requirements are met, the mere presence of cell towers and 4G/5G equipment is not grounds to consider them dangerous to public health."

The scientists urged the public to evaluate information about potential risks from scientific and official sources, rather than unverified posts on social media.
