Trust in the Kazakh president has reached 86.9%, reports the website infohub.kz.

According to sociologists, 84.1% of respondents consider the socio-political situation in Kazakhstan stable or favorable. In the first quarter, this figure stood at 70.4%.

The survey showed that 85.8% of respondents are satisfied with their lives, and 50.5% have seen an improvement in their financial situation over the past year. Among those aged 18 to 28, 87.1% described the situation in the country as stable, and 65.6% expect life to improve in the coming year.

A separate KIOR study focused on political preferences. 75.1% of respondents said they are willing to take part in the Kurultai elections. Of these, 37.6% are firmly certain they will go to polling stations, and another 37.5% are more likely to vote.

KIOR noted that in the first quarter they surveyed 2,400 people, and in the second quarter 1,200. According to the organizers, the results show a high level of trust in state institutions ahead of the Kurultai elections.

Earlier, Chairman of the Central Election Commission Shavkat Utemisov spoke about the election deposit amount for political parties in the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for August 23.
