In 2025, members of the executive body of KEGOC received a total of 496.3 million tenge in salaries and other monetary compensation, reports infohub.kz.

The data was disclosed in the financial statements published on the website of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). However, the company does not specify how many executives received payments, nor the amounts of individual compensation. The published materials do not allow for a breakdown of salaries, bonuses, and other types of remuneration.

KEGOC's financial indicators for the past year show growth: net profit reached 70.8 billion tenge, compared to 59.5 billion tenge a year earlier. Revenue increased from 319.9 billion to 397.7 billion tenge. The audited consolidated financial statements were posted on KASE on May 5.

Interest in management compensation arose after a massive power outage on August 14. At 14:37, a technological disruption occurred in the Unified Electric Power System of Kazakhstan, causing the disconnection of three KEGOC power transmission lines: two "Agadyr - Ulken" lines and the "Aktogay - Taldykorgan" line. Power supply restrictions affected several regions, including Almaty and the Almaty region.

KEGOC reported that power supply to the Almaty energy hub from the company's networks was restored by 16:12, and at 16:26 the Southern zone of the Unified Energy System of Kazakhstan resumed parallel operation with the main part of the country's energy system and the energy system of Central Asia. According to preliminary operational data, the technological disruption was caused by a power surge from the Unified Energy System of Central Asia.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that in the first half of 2026, KEGOC's net profit increased by 59.4% year-on-year to 54.6 billion tenge, and revenue grew by 31.1% to 240.1 billion tenge. For 2025, the company also increased net profit by 49% to 88 billion tenge, maintaining a low debt burden and a significant liquidity cushion.
