More than 20,000 schoolchildren from all regions of Kazakhstan, including Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, and 17 oblasts, took part in the regional qualifying rounds of the intellectual game 'Leader of the 21st Century'. Based on test results, 108 participants with the highest scores advanced to the third republican round, and six strongest students reached the final. Three of them won educational grants to leading universities of the country, and three more received cash prizes, reports infohub.kz.

The Khabar Agency announced the names of the season's winners, who demonstrated exceptional knowledge and abilities. First place went to Nurkhanat Kanat from Taraz (lyceum 'Bilim-Innovation'), who won a grant to study at SDU University. Second place was taken by Sayat Kaltai from Astana (school No. 101), who received a grant from the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU). Third place was awarded to Zagipa Kuttybai from Almaty (school No. 39 named after S. Kozhikov), who received a grant from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU).

Three more erudite finalists — Askarbek Nurym (Astana, school 'Zerdeli' No. 1), Dauren Asylkhan (Almaty region, Talgar district, secondary school No. 26), and Ramazan Abdirazak (Shymkent, NIS) — received cash certificates and letters of gratitude from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

To ensure transparency of the game, university professors were invited as experts, and the project's questions were pre-checked by the relevant department responsible for UNT preparation. The tasks covered both exact and humanitarian disciplines, as well as arts and sports. The intellectual game 'Leader of the 21st Century' not only tests participants' academic knowledge but also strengthens their will to win. The tension on the set remained until the last seconds, as every point brought schoolchildren closer to their cherished goal.

The next season of the large-scale television project, organized jointly by the Khabar Agency and the Republican Scientific and Practical Center 'Daryn', has officially concluded. In the intellectual battle, students of grades 11-12 competed on equal terms — from both general education schools in remote villages and leading Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools (NIS), republican physics and mathematics schools (RFMS), and specialized educational organizations of cities (SEO). 'One of the key tasks of the project is to find talented kids from villages and cities, give them the opportunity to meet, open new prospects for them, and create a platform that unites educated youth. Perhaps among those who enthusiastically followed the course of the intellectual game "Leader of the 21st Century" there will be its future winners. Our project gives hope and helps make dreams come true!' — summed up the season at the Khabar Agency.
