Aida Aliyeva, wife of Nurali Aliyev and daughter-in-law of former Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, posted on Instagram footage of preparations for the wedding of Tauman Nazarbayev, the ex-leader's eldest son from his second marriage. The celebration is taking place in Astana under a shroud of secrecy, according to infohub.kz.
Upon arriving in the capital, Aliyeva shared a series of photos showing the preparations for the upcoming event. However, the wife of Nurali Aliyev did not disclose details about the event itself.
"Everyone's phones were in locked cases, strict confidentiality! Don't ask, those who know, know," she captioned one of the images.
Later, Aliyeva did share a photo from the celebration, posing on a terrace with friends. The location strongly resembles the Mokki restaurant at the Ritz Carlton Astana hotel. According to sources, that is where Tauman Nazarbayev's wedding took place. The bride is reportedly the daughter of a former vice minister of industry of Kazakhstan.
Then the kelin of Dariga Nazarbayeva posted footage of a jog along the Yesil embankment with a view of the Akorda.
"30 hours in the capital and back home," Aliyeva captioned a photo from the airport.
News of Tauman Nazarbayev's wedding emerged recently. Guests were expected to include representatives of business and politics from "Old Kazakhstan." Reports say the area around the hotel was cordoned off the day before.
Tauman Nazarbayev was born in 2005. His mother, Asel Isabayeva, is also known as Asel Kurmanbayeva. The former president is married to her under Muslim customs.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that Isabayeva appeared at Dinara Satzhan's show in Astana.
