Madina Abdygazizova, a 44-year-old resident of Pavlodar with a first-group visual disability, has been unable to find official employment for a long time, reports infohub.kz.

She says she really wants to work officially and has a diploma, but for now has to make do with occasional earnings. "This year I graduated from the Higher Medical College with a degree in nursing, qualification as a massage therapist, studied on a grant and received a stipend. I have been doing massage for 20 years. In 1999 I completed courses, and when I wanted to get a job, they told me I needed a medical education. Now I have a medical education, I have all the documents. I have a huge request - please hear me! I want to work," shared Madina Abdygazizova.

She lives with her son in a rented apartment. She says that disability and survivor benefits of 158,000 tenge are barely enough. "I applied to the Pavlodar Employment Center, registered, but there are no results. I do therapeutic massage, children's massage, and apparatus massage. I have a talking blood pressure monitor that I bought online. Before massaging elderly people, I measure their blood pressure. The state provided me with a laptop and a phone, I have everything, I just need to work to make a living," said the Pavlodar resident.

The Career Center of Pavlodar notes that currently 185 people with disabilities are registered as unemployed. A list has been approved that includes 69 organizations for employing people with disabilities, with a total of 212 quota places. The work varies, mostly in educational and healthcare organizations.

"Specifically regarding Madina Abdygazizova, we have repeatedly offered her work in this sector, she received a referral to a health complex. She is currently in reserve, and we plan to consider a subsidized workplace to help her get employed. We are doing our best to help her," said Karlygash Asaimova, director of the Pavlodar Career Center.

They also added that they monitor the labor market and current vacancies daily. Since the beginning of the year, they have placed 54 people with disabilities in permanent jobs and 12 in quota positions. Madina Abdygazizova hopes that she will soon be on that list.
