Shynar Akparova has been appointed as the First Vice Minister of Education of Kazakhstan, reports infohub.kz.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, today the head of the ministry, Zhuldyz Suleimenova, introduced Shynar Akparova to the staff, who previously held the position of Vice Minister.
"By the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Shynar Kuanyshovna Akparova has been appointed as the First Vice Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Prior to this appointment, she had held the position of Vice Minister of Education since November 2025," the official statement reads.
Shynar Akparova was born in 1972 in the Karaganda region. She graduated from the Tselinograd Financial and Economic College, the Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov, and the Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz.
She began her career as a teacher of Russian language and literature. Over the years, she worked as a deputy director of a school for educational work, a methodologist, and held various positions in the system of control and quality assurance of education.
In 2020–2023, she was the deputy head of the Department for Quality Assurance in Education of the Karaganda region, and in 2023–2025 she headed this department. In 2025, she held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
