Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree dismissing Iryna Mudra from the post of deputy head of the presidential office. The decision comes amid reports of a special operation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), according to infohub.kz.

According to the decree of August 19, Mudra Iryna Romanivna has been relieved of her post. The official reason has not been disclosed. However, as UNIAN reports, the dismissal followed the revelation of a joint special operation by NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO). The operation exposed a criminal organization led by current and former people's deputies of Ukraine, with the involvement of high-ranking officials from the presidential office and other individuals.

NABU did not specify who exactly was involved. However, sources from RBC-Ukraine reported that possible figures in the case could include Iryna Mudra, people's deputy Vadym Stolar, and former deputy Maksym Mykytas. Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko also said that searches were being conducted at Mudra's premises.

Earlier, Zelensky had already made personnel changes: in July he dismissed the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, and before that he removed Yulia Svyrydenko from the post of Prime Minister. In late November last year, NABU and SAPO conducted searches at the office of the head of the presidential office Andriy Yermak in the government quarter, suspecting him of money laundering.
