Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has denied any involvement in the corruption scandal that erupted in his office, according to infohub.kz.

The Ukrainian leader said that the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) has no claims against him. "NABU has no questions for me. They fully understand that I am not involved in anything of the sort," Zelensky emphasized.

Regarding Iryna Mudra, the former deputy head of the presidential office, Zelensky noted that he does not have more information than the public. "What I knew was enough to react on the very first day of this case, right after the searches. There were enough details to dismiss her. I learned, practically together with you, about some conversations about certain actions, whether real or potential. It is inappropriate to discuss this now. What was voiced there, I believe, is enough for the deputy and another person in the department to be dismissed. If additional information emerges, we will respond to it," the president said.

Recall that on August 19, Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Iryna Mudra from the post of deputy head of the presidential office. This decision was made after reports of a NABU special operation.
