Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine has reached agreements with the United States on monthly deliveries of missiles for Patriot air defense systems. He stated this at a press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, as reported by infohub.kz.
According to Ukrainian media, Kyiv and Washington have managed to coordinate regular supplies of interceptor missiles for Patriot. "This is very difficult work. In what directions can this problem be solved? First of all: who has anti-missile missiles and systems? The manufacturer. That is, primarily, the United States. Can they help? We are working on it. Will they allocate missiles to us every month? Yes, we have agreements," the Ukrainian leader's words are quoted by UNIAN.
At the same time, Zelensky stressed that the volumes of supplies are insufficient, and this year they are smaller than in previous periods.
Earlier, media reported that US President Donald Trump refused to provide additional interceptor missiles to Volodymyr Zelensky, citing the need to preserve reserves for America itself.
