Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with CNN that Kyiv has handed Washington new proposals for settling the conflict with Russia, reports infohub.kz.

The Ukrainian leader noted that despite peace talks between the US, Ukraine, and Russia having stalled in recent months, Kyiv has presented the American side with new initiatives to end the conflict. "We need more involvement from the American side in the peace plan. I am grateful to President Trump's team for wanting to continue it. Putin does not want to stop this war now, and there is not enough pressure on him," Zelensky said.

The details of the proposals have not been disclosed. At the same time, Zelensky ruled out the possibility of Kyiv giving up the part of Donbas under its control and called security guarantees one of the key issues for Ukraine.

Earlier, Zelensky said that Ukraine and the US had managed to agree on monthly deliveries of missiles for Patriot air defense systems.
