Police in Turkestan region searched for seven days for a woman who left home with her four children after a quarrel with her husband. It turned out she had gone to Shymkent and rented an apartment there without telling relatives, reports infohub.kz.
A resident of Otyrar district contacted the police: his wife and children had left home and not returned for a week. Officers from the Organized Crime Unit of the Turkestan Regional Police Department and the Otyrar District Police were deployed. Checkpoints were set up at entrances and exits of the district, vehicles were searched, and neighboring areas were alerted.
The woman and her children, aged 6, 5, 3, and 10 months, were found in a taxi and taken to the police station. The reason for leaving was a domestic conflict with her husband: offended, she took the children and documents and went to Shymkent, where she rented an apartment without telling anyone.
"Close relatives were called in, and police officers conducted preventive explanatory work. The family members reconciled and safely returned home," the press service of the Turkestan Regional Police Department reported.
