A key section of Astana's bypass road is set to undergo essential repairs, leading to temporary closures for drivers. The affected segment runs for 8 kilometers, starting from the turn-off to the 'Balkaragay' recreation area towards the interchange for the Pavlodar direction.

Road Closure Details

The closure will be in effect from May 3rd to May 13th. During this period, 'KazAvtoZhol' will be conducting medium-term repair work on this vital stretch of roadway. The maintenance includes milling the existing surface, repairing potholes, and laying a new two-layer asphalt-concrete pavement.

Traffic Flow During Repairs

While the primary focus is on the repair work, there will be temporary openings for vehicle movement. These openings will occur during the intervals between the laying of the lower and upper asphalt layers, allowing for some traffic to pass through.
