Car Owner Wins Lawsuit Against Car Wash for Damaged Vehicle

A resident of Uralsk has successfully sued a local car wash, recovering compensation for damages sustained by his vehicle due to an employee's carelessness. The incident highlights the importance of proper safety protocols at service centers.

The Incident

The dispute arose when a driver brought his Chery Tiggo 2 Pro to the car wash. After completing the wash, the car wash employee handed over the keys to the owner without ensuring that the equipment had completely stopped.

Damage and Disagreement

As the car owner opened the door, the still-moving equipment struck and damaged it. The car wash management initially refused to accept responsibility, claiming the client had opened the door prematurely, causing the damage to the equipment.

Court's Decision

However, a thorough review of the court case materials, including video surveillance footage, revealed that the car wash employee had violated safety regulations by handing over the keys while the equipment was still operational.

Following the court proceedings, a decision was made requiring the car wash owner to compensate the client for the damages. The car wash owner's counterclaim to recover alleged damages was dismissed. This ruling has not yet entered into legal force.

This case serves as a reminder for businesses to adhere strictly to operational safety standards to prevent customer property damage and subsequent legal action.
