Astana's Morning Fog and Icy Roads

In the capital city, Astana, residents can expect fog during the night and early morning hours, which may lead to icy conditions on the roads. Both drivers and pedestrians are urged to be extremely careful to avoid accidents.

Turkistan Region Faces Dust Storms

The northern part of the Turkistan region is predicted to experience dust storms. Winds blowing from the northeast are anticipated to reach speeds of 15-20 meters per second in northern, western, and mountainous areas. In Turkistan city itself, wind gusts could intensify to 15-20 meters per second.

Abai Region: Snowmelt Concerns

A rise in air temperature to +5…+13°C during the day, coupled with precipitation (rain and snow) expected on March 27th and 28th, will cause rapid snowmelt in the northern and eastern parts of Abai region. Between March 26th and 28th, specific conditions may arise, prompting experts to advise residents in coastal areas to closely monitor the situation.

Almaty and Zhetysu Regions: Wind and Fog Expected

In Almaty region, easterly winds are forecast for March 26th. Meanwhile, Zhetysu region will likely see fog in northern and mountainous areas during the night and morning. Winds are expected to reach 15-20 meters per second in eastern and mountainous zones, with gusts potentially hitting 23-28 meters per second near the Alakol lakes.

Mangystau and Atyrau: Mixed Conditions

Mangystau region may experience rain and thunderstorms in its western, northern, and central parts, with a possibility of dust storms in the northeast. Aktau city is also anticipating fog overnight and in the early morning. Winds from the southeast could reach 15-20 meters per second in northeastern areas. In Atyrau region, fog is expected in the western part. Winds from the southeast and east could reach 15-20 meters per second in northern, southern, and eastern areas. Atyrau city may see wind gusts of up to 15-18 meters per second during the day.

West Kazakhstan and Aktobe Regions: Fog and Strong Winds

West Kazakhstan region is forecast to have fog in its western, northern, and eastern parts. Poor visibility is also expected in the city of Oral. Winds from the northeast and east could reach 15-20 meters per second in southern and eastern areas. In Aktobe region, southeast and east winds are expected to reach gusts of 15-20 meters per second in the southern and central parts during the day.
