Kazakhstan's participation in the Winter Olympics held in Italy has officially concluded, with the national team bringing home a single gold medal.

Final Competitions in Cross-Country Skiing

The last Kazakh athletes to compete were cross-country skiers Nadezhda Stepashkina and Anna Melnik. They participated in the women's 50-kilometer mass start classic style race.

Stepashkina finished the race in 32nd place, while Melnik was unable to complete the event.

Olympic Medal Standings

The gold medal in the women's 50km classic was won by Sweden's Ebba Andersson. Norway's Heidi Weng secured the silver medal, and Switzerland's Nadia Kaelin took home the bronze.

Overall Performance

A total of 36 athletes represented Kazakhstan across eleven different sports at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

The nation's sole medal was a gold won by Mikhail Shaidorov in figure skating.

This marks the end of Kazakhstan's journey in the Italian Winter Olympics.
