The family of a young Kazakhstani woman has issued an emotional plea for help in locating her after she disappeared in Vietnam. Asem, a 26-year-old citizen, was last heard from on March 6th in Ho Chi Minh City.

Last Known Contact

According to Asem's sister, contact was lost approximately 20 kilometers from the airport as Asem was en route to Hanoi. In her final messages, Asem expressed significant fear, stating she felt she was being watched.

Search Efforts Underway

The family is appealing to anyone in Vietnam or neighboring countries, particularly those with local contacts or knowledge of the area, to assist in the search. They are specifically requesting attention in local and tourist groups on platforms like WhatsApp and Telegram.

"If you have relatives or friends in Vietnam, please contact us. If possible, check with local police and hospitals," Asem's sister urged. A formal inquiry has been sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
