New Bus Route Launched in Almaty to Connect Key Areas
Almaty has launched a new public transportation route, №145, aimed at improving urban mobility and the quality of transit services for its residents. This development is set to make commuting easier and more efficient across the city.
Introducing the №145 Route
The new №145 bus service is operated by AlmatyElektroTrans LLP. The fleet consists of five modern, low-floor Yutong buses, each capable of carrying up to 60 passengers. These buses are designed for a high level of comfort, offering a smooth ride while adhering to stringent safety and environmental standards.
Route Details and Schedule
The №145 route connects Almaty-2 train station with the Gagarin-Zhandosova bus stop, covering a total distance of 16.9 kilometers. Buses will operate daily from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The route traverses major city arteries including Raiymbek Batyr Avenue, Abay Avenue, Gagarin Avenue, and Auezov Street, ensuring convenient access to various parts of the city.
Enhancing City Connectivity
The introduction of this new route is expected to significantly improve transport links between the northern and southern districts of Almaty. It will also provide better access to essential social and medical facilities, further integrating the city's public transport network.
