Suspects in Atyrau Tragedy to be Extradited from Indonesia to Kazakhstan
New details have emerged regarding the tragic incident that occurred in the village of Zhyngeldin in the Atyrau region. The suspects, who were apprehended in Indonesia, are expected to be extradited to Kazakhstan soon.
The individuals in question are Sultan Sarsenghaliyev and Aқbayan Muqangaliyeva, the son-in-law and daughter of the deceased victims, respectively. Their extradition marks a significant step in the ongoing investigation.
Extradition Process Finalized
Following a Senate session, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Sanzhar Adilov, confirmed that the process of extraditing the two suspects to Kazakhstan has been completed. He stated that with the assistance of international partners, they will be brought back to the country in the coming days. The arrival route has also been confirmed and finalized.
"Currently, the issue of extraditing two suspects in the criminal case to Kazakhstan has been resolved. They will be delivered to the country in the near future with the help of our foreign partners. The arrival route has also been preliminarily worked out. Further actions will be carried out in accordance with the current criminal legislation," said Sanzhar Adilov.
