Former Speaker of the Senate of Kazakhstan Maulen Ashimbayev spoke about his future plans، reports Alash.kz.

The politician stressed that a civil servant should work where his potential is needed. "Those of us in public service must work in areas where our potential can be useful. It's not about 'I'll go there، I'll go here.' That's the wrong attitude. We need to explain this to young people too،" Ashimbayev said.

He also noted: "I believe that new people will come to the Kurultai and the People's Council. May all changes be for the better. There is no condition to be a deputy for life. In general، public service is a temporary phenomenon. There is an entry into public service and a proper exit from it. Sometimes leaving is more important than arriving،" Maulen Ashimbayev said at a briefing after the last Senate session.

Maulen Ashimbayev stated that he is ready to carry out any tasks assigned by the Head of State and work tirelessly for the good of the country. "Whatever position I hold، I will continue working to achieve the goals set by the Head of State. I will contribute to building a Just Kazakhstan and implementing the reform agenda in the country. I will do my utmost to promote the stable and balanced development of Kazakhstan، turning our country into a successful، prosperous، promising، social-democratic state،" he concluded.
