Volume of agricultural production in Kazakhstan increased by 4.5% in the first half of 2026. The country is fully self-sufficient in flour, meat, milk, eggs, and vegetables, and for major food products, self-sufficiency levels range from 80% to 100%, reports website infohub.kz.

According to the government, growth in the agricultural sector is driven by expansion of cultivated areas to nearly 24 million hectares, including for oilseeds and fodder crops. At the same time, food production is increasing: more meat, pasta, dairy, and confectionery products are being produced.
