American actress Hayden Panettiere, known for her roles in the TV series "Heroes" and "Nashville," has died at the age of 36. In a family statement, the actress was described as a person who brought love and joy to her loved ones and to the millions of viewers who knew her from her on-screen roles, reports infohub.kz.

Panettiere began her acting career as a child. In the 1990s, she appeared in the soap operas "One Life to Live" and "Guiding Light," and then gradually moved on to larger television and film projects.

Her breakthrough came with the series "Heroes," where she played Claire Bennet, a high school student with the ability to rapidly heal from injuries. Later, Panettiere landed another notable role in the musical drama "Nashville," playing aspiring country singer Juliette Barnes.

In addition to TV shows, the actress appeared in films such as "Remember the Titans," "Ice Princess," and "Scream 4." Among her recent works are the thriller "Amber Alert" (2024) and the horror film "It: Nightmare," released in 2026.

In recent years, Panettiere openly discussed her struggles with alcohol and postpartum depression. She is survived by her daughter Kaya, born in 2014 during her relationship with Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko.

Hayden's death comes three years after the passing of her younger brother Jansen Panettiere, who died in February 2023 at the age of 28. Hayden had repeatedly said she struggled to cope with the loss and never fully came to terms with her brother's death.
