JFOOD Mills, a grain storage company that was part of the former TsESNA-ASTYK concern, posted a net loss of 36.8 million tenge in 2025, compared with a profit of 3.9 million tenge a year earlier. The loss amounts to about 37 million tenge, reports infohub.kz.

The company's revenue from product sales and services reached 348 million tenge, up 31% year-on-year. However, the cost of goods sold rose by 42% to 331.5 million tenge. Most of the services, worth 262 million tenge, were provided to related parties, i.e., the parent holding, while services to third-party companies brought in 86 million tenge.

In the cost structure, key expenses were materials at 78 million tenge, double the previous year, and labor costs at 146 million tenge, up 43%. Administrative expenses also doubled to 64.5 million tenge, mainly due to higher salaries. In addition, the company has debts to related parties amounting to 47 million tenge.

JFOOD Mills, formerly known as the TsESNA-ASTYK Elevator, specializes in grain storage and warehousing. It is part of JFood Kazakhstan, a trading and manufacturing company that produces flour and pasta under the brands Salem, Bella Pasta, and TsESNA.

Since February 2025, the owner of the company has been the well-known businessman Tursengali Alaguzov, who ranks 58th in the list of the richest Kazakhs with a fortune of $160 million. He also owns the beverage producer Galanz Bottlers, known for Maxi Chai, and the Shymkent Brewery.

Earlier it was reported that Galanz Bottlers, one of the largest producers of soft drinks in Kazakhstan, posted a profit of 18.3 billion tenge in 2025.
