Sherkhan Sugurbekov, general director of the private company Caspian Integrated Maritime Solutions Ltd., which transports crude oil on two tankers it owns in the Caspian Sea, received 86.464 million tenge in remuneration in 2025. According to the company's financial statements, this averages 7.2 million tenge a month, the website infohub.kz reports.
"As of 31 December 2025, key management personnel consisted of 1 person (as of 31 December 2024: 1 person). The total amount of remuneration to key management personnel for the period ended 31 December 2025, included in general and administrative expenses in the accompanying statement of comprehensive income, amounted to 86,464 thousand tenge (for the period ended 31 December 2024: 68,117 thousand tenge)," the document says.
In 2024–2025, remuneration to key management personnel consisted mainly of salaries, the statements note.
For 2025, the private company Caspian Integrated Maritime Solutions Ltd. posted a profit of 1.1 billion tenge, after a profit of 916 million tenge in 2024. The company's revenue in 2025 amounted to 5.9 billion tenge, compared with 5.2 million tenge in 2024. All revenue came from the transportation of crude oil in the Caspian Sea – its main client in 2024–2025 was the national maritime shipping company Kazmortransflot.
The company's retained earnings at the end of 2025 stood at 1.2 billion tenge. Caspian Integrated Maritime Solutions Ltd. paid 1 billion tenge in dividends in 2025.
Caspian Integrated Maritime Solutions Ltd. is engaged in the maritime transport of cargo. Its fleet includes the company's own oil tankers Taraz and Liwa, acquired in 2023. The company's website states that each of the tankers Taraz and Liwa has a gross tonnage of 5,122 tonnes. The total carrying value of the company's vehicles at the end of 2025 was 13.6 billion tenge.
Caspian Integrated Maritime Solutions Ltd. is owned by International Maritime Investments Ltd. (UAE) with 51% and by the national maritime shipping company Kazmortransflot (part of KazMunayGas) with 49%.
International Maritime Investments Ltd. is wholly owned by Abu Dhabi Ports Company PJSC, whose shares are 100% owned by Abu Dhabi Development Holdings Company PJSC (ADDHC PJSC). As of 31 December 2025, 75.42% of ADDHC PJSC shares are owned by the government of Abu Dhabi and 7.3% by Al Seer Marine Supplies & Equipment Company PJSC UAE.
