The first session is to be held on September 2. Then, on September 9, some members of the cabinet of ministers will take their oath. The parliament plans to adopt a resolution on scheduling the regular presidential election not at an extraordinary session, but at a regular one on September 17.
The source noted that this timeframe complies with legal requirements, according to which the Jogorku Kenesh must decide on the election date no later than four months before voting day.

It should be added that the country's President Sadyr Japarov stated that he had considered former head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev as a future head of state and had not previously intended to run in the 2027 election. Recently, the head of Kyrgyzstan officially confirmed that he will participate in the presidential election in January 2027.
