Around 200 undocumented migrants from Morocco, who have set up a makeshift camp on Trampolin Beach in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, have held a protest demanding asylum. This is reported by the website infohub.kz.

According to RIA Novosti, citing the EFE agency, the protesters loudly voiced their demands. RTVE journalist Jesus Navarro noted that police are deployed near the beach.

Furthermore, according to the newspaper Espaniol, Spanish police have recorded 15 cases of sexual assault in Ceuta since July amid the migration crisis. The publication notes that women and girls are subjected to violence due to the chaos and lack of security caused by the massive influx of migrants. Two people have been arrested in connection with these crimes.

It is recalled that on the night of July 30-31, thousands of Moroccan migrants breached the border in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, located in North Africa. The Spanish authorities were forced to mobilize the army. By Friday evening, most migrants had left Ceuta and returned to Morocco. Initially, it was reported that at least 57 people died trying to cross the border, and their bodies were recovered from the water.

Morocco's Interior Ministry linked the migrant influx to disinformation that led to a massive rush to the border.
