Renowned Kazakh singer Toktar Serik has spoken out about his stance on child-rearing, emphasizing that parental responsibility has significantly increased in the current era.

Serik shared that he makes a conscious effort to monitor his children's whereabouts and daily habits. He views this not as a lack of trust, but as a crucial measure to prevent potential dangers in today's challenging environment.

Prioritizing Child Safety

The artist explained his approach, stating, "I often check my children's pockets because I worry. What if something harmful, like tobacco or something else, is found? Times are not easy now. Monitoring a child is the primary duty of every parent."

Serik also mentioned that he consistently warns his children against accepting anything from strangers and advises them to be cautious both on the streets and online. He believes that raising children today requires not just giving advice, but also consistent attention and supervision.

His wife, Beibit Seidualieva, also expressed her support for her husband's approach to parenting.
