The region currently boasts 41 state sports institutions، serving approximately 25،000 athletes and nearly 1،200 coaches. In the past two years alone، over 5 billion tenge has been invested in renovating existing sports facilities، with seven new sports buildings also constructed. The development pipeline includes several sports complexes funded by private investments and charitable foundations.

Among the proposed new projects، plans are underway to commence the construction of a new stadium in Aktau designed to accommodate 10،000 spectators. The meeting also emphasized the critical need for a 50-meter swimming pool and a rehabilitation center specifically tailored for athletes' recovery and performance enhancement.

Broader Regional Considerations

Beyond sports، the meeting addressed other vital regional issues. The sanitary and epidemiological situation was a key focus، with a noted increase in respiratory infections، influenza، measles، and intestinal infections projected for 2025. Food security was also discussed، highlighting the region's 12 processing plants and 9 warehouses with a combined capacity exceeding 109،000 tons. Measures are in place، including agreements through the regional stabilization fund، to manage food prices.

The regional governor has mandated strengthened sanitary safety measures، increased vaccination efforts against measles، and the systematic implementation of all infrastructure projects.
