Speaking on the "Koreemiz" talk show، Sultan shared that her father did not anticipate his passing. He placed immense faith in the capabilities of doctors in Kazakhstan. When the family suggested fundraising from the public to seek treatment abroad، Akzhol Meirbekov firmly refused، expressing his discomfort and sense of shame at the idea of accepting money from people.

Trust in Medical Professionals

Meirbekov's daughter recounted how doctors assured her father that his treatment protocols were standard. Throughout his battle، the singer underwent 18 rounds of chemotherapy. Despite experiencing significant pain and hardship، he consistently strived to maintain a positive demeanor، even performing on stage and singing.

Recalling her father's final words to her – a simple plea to "live well and upright" – Sultan became emotional، her eyes welling up with tears.
