Dubai's famous Burj Al Arab hotel became the latest landmark to be affected by a drone attack، with reports of a fire breaking out on its exterior facade. The incident occurred following a series of drone strikes targeting the city.

Fire Erupts on Hotel Facade

According to initial reports، the fire started on the lower section of the distinctive ship-shaped hotel after a drone impact. Dubai authorities have confirmed the drone attack and its consequences.

Official Statement

The Dubai government released a statement via its X (formerly Twitter) account، confirming that one of the drones was intercepted. "Authorities confirm that one of the drones was intercepted، and its debris caused a small fire on the outer facade of the Burj Al Arab hotel. Civil defense teams immediately responded and brought the situation under control. There are no reports of casualties or injuries،" the statement read.

Other Landmarks Targeted

This incident follows other recent drone attacks in Dubai. Previously، Dubai International Airport was targeted، resulting in injuries to four staff members. The five-star hotel "The Palm" on Palm Jumeirah also reportedly suffered a drone attack. Drones were also sighted near the Burj Khalifa.
