Authorities in the Kostanay region have apprehended a driver whose vehicle was registered with Russian license plates، uncovering a significant number of unpaid traffic violations. The discovery highlights ongoing enforcement efforts and the consequences for non-compliance with traffic laws.

Extensive Violation Record Uncovered

During a routine patrol on March 1st، police inspectors stopped a FAW-brand vehicle bearing Russian registration plates. A subsequent check of the driver's record revealed a staggering 28 instances of traffic law infractions. These violations had gone unaddressed، accumulating substantial fines.

Substantial Fines and Vehicle Impoundment

The total amount owed for the accumulated fines exceeded 450،000 Kazakhstani tenge. In accordance with the country's legislation، measures were taken against the offender. The vehicle has been impounded at a special facility and will remain there until all outstanding administrative fines are fully settled.

This incident serves as a reminder of recent changes in traffic fine regulations، including the removal of a 50% discount for timely payments، as previously announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
