Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has asserted that the nation is not seeking a truce or negotiations with the United States، emphasizing Iran's self-sufficiency and military capabilities.

In an interview with NBC News، Araghchi addressed Iran's recent military actions، clarifying that strikes were directed at U.S. military infrastructure، not neighboring or Muslim countries. He stated، "We did not strike our neighbors or Muslim countries. We struck U.S. military facilities and infrastructure."

U.S. Plans Thwarted

Araghchi suggested that the U.S. had anticipated a swift and decisive victory، a plan he indicated had failed. He also highlighted that despite the elimination of high-ranking Iranian officials، the country's military prowess remains intact. "Our missiles are still working and hitting targets accurately،" the minister affirmed.

No Interest in Talks

When questioned about Iran's willingness to engage in dialogue or send signals to the U.S.، Araghchi was unequivocal. "We are not seeking a truce and see no reason to negotiate with the U.S. We have never sent any signals،" he responded.

Strait of Hormuz

Regarding the strategic Strait of Hormuz، Araghchi stated there are no current plans to close it. However، he cautioned that all options would be considered in the event of war.

Readiness for U.S. Ground Operations

The Iranian Foreign Minister expressed no fear of potential U.S. ground operations، suggesting instead that such a move would be met with anticipation and would result in a significant disaster for American forces.

International Support

Araghchi acknowledged Russia's political support for Iran but remained non-committal on military aid from Russia and China. He reiterated Iran's capacity for self-defense، stating، "We can defend ourselves. We don't need anyone's help."
