Kazakh Workers' Dispute in Russia Resolved، Lawmaker Assures
A recent dispute among Kazakh workers in the Ust-Luga settlement of Russia's Leningrad region has been completely resolved، according to a prominent Russian official. Adam Delimkhanov، a State Duma deputy، stated that the incident was purely domestic and lacked any ethnic or inter-ethnic motivations.
Addressing the Incident
Delimkhanov met with Kazakhstan's Consul General and law enforcement representatives to discuss the situation. He urged the public to avoid speculation and sensationalism surrounding the event.
Emphasis on Brotherhood
"As we know، Kazakhs are our fraternal people، and we have been connected by years of friendship and warm relations،" Delimkhanov stated. "We will not allow anyone to turn such domestic situations into inter-ethnic conflicts and will stop any attempts aimed at sowing discord between our peoples."
Situation Under Control
The deputy confirmed that the situation is under control، all parties have been heard، and the conflict is fully settled. "We have thoroughly examined the incident. Today، we can confidently say that the issue is closed، and the parties have no claims against each other،" he added.
Worker Confirmation
Workers themselves confirmed the stabilization of the situation. Saurbek Bekzhanov، a foreman for the company، reported that no one sustained serious injuries during the altercation. He noted that representatives from the embassy and the General Consulate of Kazakhstan arrived promptly to protect the rights of Kazakh citizens. The workers acknowledged that all issues are being resolved within the legal framework، and operations have resumed as normal.
