Kazakhstan's national traditional archery team has achieved significant success at the international FETIH KUPASI tournament held in Turkey. This joyous news was shared by Majilis deputy and President of the Republican Traditional Archery Federation، Nartai Aralbaiuly، via his social media channels.

Dominant Performance in Istanbul

The prestigious competition took place in Istanbul، Turkey. The event concluded its second discipline، the 'Turkish pot' at a distance of 50 meters، where Kazakhstani athletes secured top honors.

Medal Haul for Kazakh Archers

In the men's category for the 'Turkish pot' discipline، Zhanibek Salamatuly clinched the gold medal. Marat Lukpanov earned a bronze medal for his performance.

Among the women، Sabira Zhappar secured a spot in the top three، taking home a bronze medal.

Overall Team Victory

The FETIH KUPASI tournament saw over 500 archers from 40 countries participating. In the overall team standings، the national traditional archery team of the Republic of Kazakhstan was declared the winner.
