Kazakhstan is set to experience a sharp decline in weather conditions across 16 of its regions. Meteorologists have issued storm warnings for April 13th، predicting widespread rain، thunderstorms، strong winds، and fog throughout much of the country.

Regional Weather Forecasts

Abay Region

Fog is expected in the northern parts of the region during the night and morning. Winds will shift from the southwest to the northwest، with gusts reaching 15-20 meters per second in the central and northern areas during the day. The fire risk remains high in the southern part of the region.

Akmola Region

Fog is anticipated in the western and northern parts of the region. The wind will change direction from southwest to northeast، with speeds of 15-18 meters per second expected in the eastern part of the region during the day.

Aktobe Region

Light rain and thunderstorms are forecast for the northwestern part of the region during the night and morning. Winds from the southeast will strengthen to 15-18 meters per second in the western، southern، and central parts of the region during the day.

Almaty Region

Light rain and thunderstorms are expected in the mountainous and foothills areas during the day. High fire risk is noted in the northern، western، and central parts of the region، as well as in the city of Korday. Light rain and thunderstorms may occur in the mountainous areas of the Medeu and Bostandyk districts of Almaty city.

Atyrau Region

Rain and thunderstorms are predicted for the western، northern، and southern parts of the region. The intensity of rainfall may increase in the western part during the day، with possible hail. Fog is expected in the western، northern، and southern parts during the night and morning. Winds from the southeast will reach up to 15-20 meters per second in the west and south. Atyrau city will experience rain، thunderstorms، and fog during the night and morning on April 13th.

East Kazakhstan Region

Fog is forecast for the northern part of the region during the night and morning. Winds will shift from the southeast to the northwest، with gusts reaching 15-20 meters per second in the northern and eastern parts during the day.

Jambyl Region

Rain and thunderstorms are expected in the mountainous areas during the day. Fog will be present in the southern and mountainous regions. Winds from the northeast will reach 15-20 meters per second in the southern، northeastern، and mountainous areas. A high fire risk is present in the western and southeastern parts.

Jetisu Region

Near the Alakol lakes، northeasterly winds could reach speeds of up to 30 meters per second. Light rain and thunderstorms are possible in the mountainous areas during the day. Fog is expected in the southern، central، and mountainous regions during the night and morning. Taldykorgan will experience fog during the night and morning.

West Kazakhstan Region

Rain and thunderstorms are expected in the western، northern، and southern parts of the region. Fog may occur in the northern، western، and central parts during the night and morning. Winds will shift from the southwest to the northeast، with gusts of 15-20 meters per second in the western، southern، and eastern parts during the day. Oral city will see rain، thunderstorms، and fog during the night and morning.

Karaganda Region

Rain and thunderstorms are forecast for the eastern part of the region during the day. Fog is expected in the western، northern، and eastern parts during the night and morning. Winds will shift from the southwest to the northeast، with gusts reaching 15-18 meters per second in the northern and eastern parts during the day. High fire risk is present in the western and southern parts.

Kostanay Region

Rain and thunderstorms are predicted for the western، northern، and eastern parts of the region. Fog is expected in the western and eastern parts. Kostanay city will experience rain and thunderstorms on April 13th.

Kyzylorda Region

A dust storm is expected in the central and northern parts of the region during the day. Winds from the east and southeast will reach 15-20 meters per second in the central and northern parts during the day. Kyzylorda city will experience a dust storm during the day، with easterly winds reaching 15-20 meters per second.

Mangystau Region

The region will experience rain and thunderstorms. The intensity of rainfall may increase in the western part during the day، with possible hail and squalls. Fog is expected in the northwest during the night and morning. A dust storm is forecast in the northeast. Winds from the northwest will reach 15-20 meters per second، with gusts up to 23 meters per second in the southern، northeastern، and central parts. Aktau city will have rain and thunderstorms on April 13th، with increased rainfall intensity and possible hail during the day.

Pavlodar Region

Rain and thunderstorms are expected in the western، southern، and eastern parts of the region during the day. Winds from the southwest will reach 15-20 meters per second in the northern part during the day.

North Kazakhstan Region

Precipitation (rain، snow) and icy conditions are expected in the western and southern parts during the night. Light rain and thunderstorms are forecast for the day. Fog will be present in the western، northern، and eastern parts. Winds from the northeast will reach 15-20 meters per second in the eastern part during the day. Petropavl may experience fog.

Turkistan Region

Northeasterly winds will blow in the northern part of the region during the day، with speeds reaching 15-20 meters per second. A high fire risk is present in the western and northern parts.
