Major renovation projects at four railway stations in the West Kazakhstan region are nearing their final stages، promising modernized facilities for travelers.

Uralsk Station at 87% Completion

The primary railway hub in the region، Uralsk station، began its extensive upgrade in 2025. Currently، the installation of metal structures for the concourse passage is complete، and the facade is being clad with modern FCP panels. According to regional administration data، the station is now 87% complete.

Aksay Station's Exterior Work Underway

In Aksay، the railway station is also progressing well، with exterior finishing works underway. This station has reached a 90% completion rate.

Semiglaviy Mar Station Awaits Heating System

The station in Tasqala district، Semiglaviy Mar، has finished its interior decoration. The next step involves the installation of its heating system.

Shyngyrlau Station Focuses on Interior Works

Similarly، Shyngyrlau station shows high readiness، with 90% of its interior works completed.

Project Details and Funding

The reconstruction of the Uralsk railway station commenced in April 2025. The project is commissioned by the National Company "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" JSC and the general contractor is "KazConstructionGroup" LLP. The renovations are being financed through the company's own funds.
