Olympic gold medalist Eldos Smetov has not competed in official events since his victory at the Paris Olympics in 2024. Following his return home، Smetov underwent several surgeries، which have impacted his training schedule. His rehabilitation period was ongoing at a clinic in Taraz as of March. Despite these setbacks، Smetov has repeatedly stated his intention to continue his career and aims to compete in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Abiba Abuzhakynova Also Sidelined

Abiba Abuzhakynova، a medalist at the World and Asian Games، is also absent from the team list. In late March، she announced her marriage to Ermekhan Anuarbekov، another member of the national judo team، who will also not be participating in the tournament.
