The persistent issue of drinking water scarcity in the Mangystau region has been definitively resolved، thanks to a comprehensive plan initiated under the direct supervision of the President. This significant development was announced by representatives of the "National Coalition for a People's Constitution of a Just and Progressive Kazakhstan" during a meeting with local residents.

Addressing the Water Shortage

According to the regional administration، a complex plan، which has been under the President's close watch in recent years، has been fully implemented. Key measures included increasing the capacity of the Caspian Sea desalination plant and launching new desalination facilities in the Tupkaragan، Kenderli، and Zhetibay areas. These efforts have successfully eliminated the drinking water deficit that plagued the region for years.

Infrastructure and Energy Improvements

Beyond water supply، the region has also seen improvements in its electricity infrastructure، ensuring a stable power flow. The development of alternative energy sources، such as the unique hybrid power station in Zhanaozen، is underway. Additionally، the Mangystau Atomic Energy Complex (MAEC) is being modernized، and both heating and electricity networks are undergoing repairs.

Social Development and Economic Growth

In the last two years alone، 13 schools have been constructed as part of the "Keleshek Schools" project. Zhanaozen has welcomed a new Palace of Schoolchildren، and Aktau now boasts an ice arena built to international standards. A rapid response center has been established in the regional capital، and a multidisciplinary hospital has opened in the Munaily district.

Furthermore، 55 investment projects aimed at diversifying the regional economy are being implemented as part of 52 tasks personally overseen by the President. These projects، valued at 10 trillion tenge، are expected to create approximately 10،000 jobs and focus on sectors like manufacturing، logistics، tourism، and agriculture.

Constitutional Reform

The meeting also highlighted the importance of the new draft Constitution. The coalition's chairman، Yerlan Koshanov، stated that the new fundamental law is a result of systematic reforms driven by the President's initiatives، emphasizing its core values of Justice، Equality، and Unity. Residents expressed their support for the draft Constitution، believing it will strengthen social cohesion and ensure stability in the country.
