A new energy drink، branded as "K-13" and associated with Adam Kadyrov، has officially launched in the Chechen Republic، part of the Russian Federation. The initiative has gained attention، partly due to the public endorsement by the head of the republic، Ramzan Kadyrov.

Public Debut and Endorsement

The launch was highlighted during the grand opening of the "Vkusdom" hypermarket in Grozny. A video circulating online shows Ramzan Kadyrov himself consuming the "K-13" energy drink. Standing beside him، the Prime Minister of the Chechen Republic، Magomed Daudov، praised the beverage، describing it as "the best energy drink."

Brand Origins and Association

The "K-13" brand appears to be closely linked to Adam Kadyrov. Previously، Adam Kadyrov and his associates have been seen wearing apparel featuring the "Dustum" and "K-13" logos. It is speculated that the "K" in the brand name might represent the first letter of his surname. Chechen bloggers connected to Adam Kadyrov frequently share images and posts featuring merchandise with these brandings.

Past Stance on Energy Drinks

Interestingly، Ramzan Kadyrov previously expressed a critical view of energy drinks. In 2012، he referred to them as "narcotic substances" unsuitable for Muslims. While the Chechen Republic's parliament later introduced restrictions and fines on the sale of energy drinks، these prohibitions were eased in 2018.

This development marks a significant shift، with the region now producing and promoting an energy drink linked to a prominent young figure.
