A significant personnel change has occurred within the national road authority following an incident involving a closed public restroom on a key highway. The director of a regional branch of 'QazAvtoJol' has been dismissed from his post after an investigation confirmed that a sanitary facility on the Astana-Shchuchinsk highway was found to be temporarily closed.

The issue came to light when the sanitary facility located at the 29th kilometer of the Astana-Shchuchinsk highway was discovered to be closed on March 8th. This prompted an internal investigation by 'QazAvtoJol'، the national company responsible for Kazakhstan's roads.
