Arystanbek Abilkhaiyruly، the mayor of Taldykorgan، has announced his resignation from his post. The city leader stated that the decision to step down was due to health reasons.

Reasons for Departure

In a statement shared on his Instagram page، Abilkhaiyruly explained that the decision was not an easy one. He had been on medical leave for some time and felt that his health condition would prevent him from fully and responsibly carrying out his official duties. He emphasized that health is one of the most important values in life، necessitating this step.

Tenure in Office

Arystanbek Abilkhaiyruly served as the mayor of Taldykorgan for approximately one year and two months. He was appointed to the position after winning an election in December 2024. Prior to his appointment، the role was held by Bakyt Kurishbekov، who was dismissed following the high-profile death of Sherzat Polat.
