A man who gained notoriety on social media as the "Atyrau Hacker" has been apprehended in Turkey. The arrest took place in Samsun، Turkey، where the suspect was reportedly on an international wanted list for multiple fraud cases.
Interpol officers took the suspect into custody، and discussions are underway regarding his extradition to Kazakhstan. Allegations of Deception and Financial Loss
According to the investigation، the resident of the Kurmangazy district allegedly posed as a service provider، deceiving citizens with promises related to attracting investments، IT training، unblocking accounts، resolving financial matters، and selling technology. Preliminary estimates suggest the total financial damage caused by these alleged schemes exceeds 13 million tenge.
Legal Proceedings and International Pursuit
In January، the specialized investigative court of Atyrau sanctioned the suspect's arrest in absentia. The regional prosecutor's office confirmed that he had been placed on an international wanted list. A request to prepare for the extradition of the suspect، who was detained in Samsun، Turkey، in February، has been submitted.
This individual previously gained significant attention on social media following a high-profile incident involving a missing family in the Atyrau region. At that time، videos circulated online where he identified himself as the "Atyrau Hacker" and claimed to be independently investigating the case.
