New information has surfaced regarding the health of Aقبايان مۇقانعالييەۆا، who is suspected in a tragic family incident in the Atyrau region. Relatives are asserting her innocence، citing her medical condition as a factor.

Investigation into the Family Tragedy

An investigation is ongoing into a brutal incident that occurred in the village of Zhangeldy، Kyzylkoga district. In November، the bodies of an elderly couple and their adult children were discovered، leading to the arrest of the couple's son-in-law، Sultan Sarsenmaliyev، and their younger daughter، Aقبايان مۇقانعالييەۆا، as suspects.

According to preliminary investigation findings، Sultan Sarsenmaliyev is believed to have planned the murders of the four individuals. He allegedly intended to seize the victims' property and flee the country after the incident. Authorities later suggested that his unofficial partner، Aقبايان، might also have been involved.

Aقبايان's Health and Family's Perspective

Following her return to Kazakhstan، Aقبايان was initially admitted to a local hospital and later transferred to a specialized psychiatric center in Almaty for evaluation due to her psychological state.

Aدەمى مۇقانعالييەۆا، the sister of the deceased Maقsot مۇقانعالييەۆ، stated that her sister Aقبايان has significant health issues and was not in a state to be accountable for her actions. She recounted that while hospitalized، Aقبايان expressed longing for her parents and even forgot she had a fifth child. Her relatives maintain that Aقبايان lacked criminal intent and that her current situation is a result of her illness.

"I bring her clothes and food. I send her medicine. But I haven't seen her. It's not allowed to see or meet her. I went to the Internal Affairs Department. They said، 'The trial hasn't happened. Everything is under control. We can't let you meet.' They can't tell us any information about Aقبايان's health or personal matters. We need a special permit،" Aدەمى مۇقانعالييەۆا shared. "They said، 'She's getting good treatment. What else can you say؟!' They mentioned she was 'anemic.' Later، they said، 'Her tooth hurts.' The doctors prescribe her medicine. I bring it to her. Her brother Shalkar brings it. When the doctors said، 'Your brother visited،' she said، 'That's Nauryz agha،'" she added، indicating a potential confusion about identities.

The Children's Welfare

The five children left behind by the couple are now under state care. The older children have been placed in a rehabilitation center for minors، while the younger ones have been taken to an orphanage. It has been confirmed that Sultan Sarsenmaliyev and Aقبايان مۇقانعالييەۆا were not legally married. Medical examination results are currently pending، according to journalist Zhanat Moldasheva.
