Egypt Now Safe for Kazakh Tourists: Foreign Ministry Updates Travel Advisory

Kazakh citizens can now travel to Egypt freely، as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has updated its travel advisories. Egypt has been removed from the list of countries previously considered high-risk for travelers.

Why the Change؟

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that the decision to reclassify Egypt was made after assessing the current situation and the operational status of civilian infrastructure، including international airports and tourist areas. Officials noted that the situation in the country has stabilized.

Other Regional Travel Restrictions Remain

While the advisory for Egypt has been updated، previous recommendations regarding other countries in the Middle East remain in effect. Due to ongoing tensions and airspace closures in the region، the Ministry continues to advise against travel to certain nations until the situation fully normalizes.

Countries still not recommended for travel by Kazakh citizens include Bahrain، Israel، Yemen، Jordan، Iraq، Iran، Qatar، Saudi Arabia، Kuwait، Lebanon، UAE، Oman، and Syria.

Advice for Citizens

Kazakh citizens currently in the region are urged to take personal safety precautions، avoid dangerous areas، and strictly follow the instructions of local authorities. This includes seeking immediate shelter in case of missile threats. It is also recommended to maintain close contact with Kazakhstan's foreign institutions، tour operators، and air carriers.
