A special graduation ceremony، marking the end of the school year، was held at the renowned 'Black Eagle' colony in the Kostanay region. This event celebrated inmates who have successfully completed their educational programs، symbolizing a step towards a new chapter in their lives.

Who are the Graduates؟

According to the Regional Penitentiary System Department، the individuals who pursued their education at the maximum-security facility in Zhitikara are not serving life sentences. These inmates are engaged in the colony's operational and maintenance work. They are currently serving their sentences as part of teams responsible for the canteen، sanitation، and internal facility management.

A Celebratory Evening

During the event held at the institution، the graduates performed songs with guitar accompaniment and shared heartfelt wishes with one another. Organizers described the evening as having a very warm and supportive atmosphere. The graduates also received guidance and advice aimed at setting new goals and adopting a different perspective on life.

It is worth noting that the 'Black Eagle' colony is considered one of Kazakhstan's strictest correctional facilities، housing individuals convicted of particularly serious crimes.
