President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has expressed his gratitude to the residents of Turkestan and the regional governor، Nurlan Kusherov، for their significant contributions to the successful organization of the recent informal summit of the Organization of Turkic States held in the city.

According to Presidential Press Secretary Aybek Smadiyarov، President Tokayev highlighted Turkestan's potential as a vibrant hub for cultural and humanitarian cooperation. The city، revered as a sacred site within the Turkic world، demonstrated its readiness to host major international forums.

Smadiyarov further noted that foreign heads of state and guests attending the summit lauded the condition of the city's roads، its cleanliness، and the well-maintained greenery in its streets and parks. This positive reception underscores the effectiveness of the preparatory efforts.

Future Development and Recognition

President Tokayev has instructed the regional and city administrations to continue their work on developing and improving Turkestan. Additionally، commendations and awards are planned for the akimat employees، utility workers، military personnel، police officers، volunteers، and all others involved in the summit's preparations.
