Kazakhstan is embarking on a significant overhaul of its school textbook system، with a phased approach to introducing updated content. The initiative aims to ensure educational materials align with contemporary needs and pedagogical advancements.

Modernizing Educational Content

Minister of Education، Zhuldyz Suleimenova، announced the upcoming changes during a government meeting. She highlighted that many of the textbooks currently in use were published between 2018 and 2019 and have not been updated to reflect current educational standards and requirements.

Phased Implementation and Goals

The modernization of textbooks will be carried out in stages. Minister Suleimenova emphasized that these updates are designed to elevate the quality of education and foster critical thinking skills among students. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov also underscored the importance of this initiative، stressing the need for educational content to keep pace with the demands of the modern era.

This move signifies a commitment to improving the learning experience and equipping Kazakhstani students with relevant knowledge and skills for the future.
