Kazakhstan's Contribution to 'Peace Council' Initiative: Humanitarian Aid Over Cash
Kazakhstan's involvement in the international 'Peace Council' initiative has been clarified by the Minister of National Economy، Serik Zhumangarin. Contrary to expectations of direct financial aid، the country's contribution will primarily focus on non-monetary، humanitarian support.
Humanitarian Aid Prioritized
During a press briefing، journalists inquired about Kazakhstan's financial commitment to the 'Peace Council'. Minister Zhumangarin explained that while no direct funds have been transferred، Kazakhstan is prepared to offer substantial humanitarian assistance. This includes deploying medical personnel to field hospitals، providing educational grants for students، and delivering food supplies.
"The bulk of the assistance will be in this form،" Zhumangarin stated. "Of course، this also has a cost. It's not right to just state numbers and say that aid is accounted for that way. This is diverse assistance، much of which is humanitarian in nature."
No Financial Aid Considered at Government Level
When pressed for specifics on whether Kazakhstan would provide monetary aid to the initiative، reportedly championed by Donald Trump، the minister confirmed that such a matter has not been discussed at the government level.
Joining the 'Peace Council'
Previously، the press service of Akorda announced that Kazakhstan had joined the 'Peace Council' without any financial contributions. This aligns with the minister's recent statement، highlighting a strategic focus on practical، non-financial support.
